My work with children and teens focuses on creating a safe space where feelings can be expressed and both emotions and thoughts can be understood. With younger children, this is often done through play. With older children and teens, as language is being developed, the work is often more verbal. Keeping in mind developmental stages, I work with children and teens to get a better sense of themselves so they can thrive in the world and achieve their goals. And I typically consider work with parents to be a vital part of this process.
